Classical pianist next UALR Artspree performer
Virtuoso classical pianist Nikita Mndoyants, a finalist in the 2013 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, will be the next Artspree performer for the 2013-14 season at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
His performance is set for 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, in the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall of the Fine Arts building.
Tickets are free for UALR students. Balcony tickets are also free for UALR faculty and staff. Tickets are $15 for individual general admission and $10 for non-UALR students.

Coming from a family of professional musicians, Mndoyants played piano and composed at a young age. He entered Central Music School in Moscow in 1995 and gave his first public recital as an 8-year-old only two years later.
In 1999, he appeared at the Sibelius Academy Concert Hall in Helsinki, and his performance was recorded and issued on CD in 2001. He graduated from the Moscow Central Music School with honors in 2006, followed by a 2011 graduation from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatoire.
