More than 400 attend Distinguished Alumni Luncheon
The UALR College of Business hosted its annual Distinguished Alumni Luncheon, presented by USAble Life on Oct. 1 at the Marriott Hotel in downtown Little Rock.
Mark Langston, executive vice president and chief financial officer of USAble Life, received the Distinguished Alumnus award, and Susan Parke, owner of Beyond Cotton, received the Dean’s Award for Excellence.
More than 400 business professionals attended the event to honor these recipients and support programs at the college.
A new highlight of this year’s event featured “Grads to Watch” video recognizing five recent College of Business alumni in Arkansas.
Featured grads were Liz Harris, Barrett Kerth, Rebecca McEachern, Shawn McGhee and Charley Elise Swann. UALR College of Business Student Ambassador KenDrell Collins concluded the luncheon with inspiring remarks regarding his academic experience.
