UALR to host Central Arkansas Regional Science and Engineering Fair

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock will host the Central Arkansas Regional Science and Engineering Fair (CARSEF) March 4 in the UALR Fitness Center.

The fair, an affiliate of the International Science and Engineering Fair, is open to students attending school in Cleburne, Conway, Faulkner, Lonoke, Monroe, Perry, Pope, Prairie, Pulaski, Van Buren, White, Woodruff, and Yell counties.

In preparation for the fair, the Scientific Review Committee will host a review session from 4 to 7 p.m. Feb. 15 in Room 125 of the Engineering, Technology, and Applied Science (ETAS) Building. Refreshments will be served.

The review session is open to any teacher who wants to learn about the science fair or who has students participating. Any employee of UALR who wishes to volunteer on the Scientific Review Committee is also encouraged to attend.

Volunteers are also needed to help with the science fair March 3-4.
