The University of Arkansas at Little Rock has hired Crystal Hunnicutt as its new research compliance officer.

Hunnicutt, a Little Rock native and UALR alumna, will work in the office of the vice provost for research. She most recently was an ethics educator and learning systems management administrator at the Wal-Mart Stores Inc. headquarters.

She previously served as a research compliance educator at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

Hunnicutt earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Education degrees from UALR. She is completing a doctoral degree at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a focus on education technology.
