The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is inviting the community to celebrate Sustainability Day on Wednesday, Oct. 19. 

A recycling drive will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in parking lot 15 near the university’s residence halls.

Members of the community can drop off electronics and household batteries for recycling. There is no cost for this service.

Numerous vendors will be present for Sustainability Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Alumni Plaza near Ottenheimer Library. The day’s events will include a farmers market, food trucks, recycling demonstrations, and games.
