UA Little Rock Wesley Foundation to host fundraisers

Join the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Wesley Foundation in its three major fundraising efforts to support programming, building maintenance, and community outreach.

The UA Little Rock Wesley Foundation is a student ministry supported by the United Methodist Church and is open to people of all faith traditions.

To kick off the organization’s first major fundraiser, its members will host a pancake breakfast and garage sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 1. The event will take place at St. Luke United Methodist Church, 6401 W. 32nd St. in Little Rock.

Tickets for the pancake breakfast are available in advance for $5 and can be purchased from a Wesley Foundation member. Otherwise, tickets are $8 at the door. The organization is also accepting donations for the garage sale until March 30.

Feast for a good cause at the Jason’s Deli fundraising dinner from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 3 at 301 N. Shackleford Road. When ordering, mention the UA Little Rock Wesley Foundation or present the fundraising flyer to have 15 percent of dine-in or to-go sales donated to the organization.

For the perfect family photo, be sure to stop by from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 8, for a spring inspired family portrait. The event will be located at Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church, 4823 Woodlawn Dr.

Each session will cost $25 for 30 minutes. Fundraiser participants will receive digital copies of all photos taken during the shoot. The Wesley Foundation reserves the right to all photos taken during the fundraiser for printing purposes.
