Volunteers needed for National History Day

University of Arkansas at Little Rock

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock will host the Central Arkansas Regional National History Day competition on Saturday, March 3. Local middle and high school students will present their original research on topics related to the theme of “Conflict and Compromise in History.”

The Department of History will host the event, which will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Donaghey Student Center, Stabler Hall, and Dickinson Hall theater.

Young scholars will present research on episodes of conflict and compromise in history in the form of an exhibit, documentary, paper, performance, or website.

UA Little Rock faculty and staff are encouraged to support these young scholars by volunteering to serve as a judge or to assist in other areas at the event. Those interested in participating can fill out this online form.
