Steinbuch to be featured speaker discussing proposed changes to Arkansas’ Freedom of Information Act

Robert Steinbuch, professor of law at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s William H. Bowen School of Law, is one of two featured speakers who will discuss proposed changes to Arkansas’ Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) on Wednesday, April 11. 

The Transparency in Government Group of Western Arkansas meeting, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Fort Smith.

Steinbuch has participated in numerous informational panels on FOIA, is a coauthor of the definitive treatise on the Arkansas FOIA, and has advised legislators and staff on proposed revisions to the Arkansas and federal FOIA laws.

The second featured speaker, Rob Moritz, is a professor of journalism at the University of Central Arkansas and alumnus of UA Little Rock with a master’s degree in journalism.
