Grad Students Present to Entomology Society
Two UALR biology graduate students presented their research Monday, March 5, at the Southeast and Southwest Branches of the Entomology Society of America. The society is meeting through Wednesday at the Peabody Hotel in Little Rock.
Dana Frederick of Little Rock presented her work on arthropod “rain” in tropical forests. Robin Verble of Little Rock presented her study of ant communities in Ozark forests and how they are impacted by prescribed fire.
Both are studying under the guidance of Dr. Stephen Yanoviak, assistant professor of biology.
