Alum Dances in Production

Anthony Bryant, the first graduate from UALR’s bachelor of fine arts degree in dance program, made his professional debut as a member of the dance ensemble in the run of “The Wiz” at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre.

Currently a guest artist with the Arkansas Festival Ballet, Bryant will be featured in the festival’s summer production of “Aladdin.”

Student Sings in Production

Satia Spencer, a senior music major with a minor in secondary education, performed as a pit singer in “The Wiz” production.

She has performed with the UALR Opera Theatre in several roles that include Carmen in “The Tragedie de Carmen.” Spencer played the role of the mother in “Amahl and the Night Visitors.”
