Joy M. Geisler, who worked in the circulation and archive departments at UALR’s Ottenheimer Library from the late 1960s until her retirement in 1992, died Tuesday, May 29.
“She passed away peacefully after having Alzheimer’s disease for the past five years,” said her daughter, Judy Millard. “She always maintained her smile and sweet personality.”

A memorial service was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 2, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 13901 Quail Run Drive in Little Rock’s Otter Creek subdivision.
