Students, community invited to Health Professions Graduate School and Career Fair

More than 60 schools and organizations from throughout the United States, Caribbean and England will participate in the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s Health Professions Graduate School and Career Fair Monday, April 4.

The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Donaghey Student Center and is free and open to to students and community members interested in health-related careers.

Registration is encouraged but not required. Students can register at ualr.edu/cals/health-fair.

The health fair is unique in bringing graduate and professional school admissions counselors, employers, and nonprofits seeking interns and volunteers to campus at one time.

“It is a prime opportunity for students to get first-hand knowledge of how to take successful steps toward their chosen career path,” said Carmen Robinson, assistant dean for student services in the UALR College of Arts, Letters, and Sciences (CALS).

Representatives from numerous fields including medical, pharmacy, physical therapy, public health, and others will be in attendance.

The fair is a collaborative effort between CALS and the UALR College of Education and Health Professions.
