Members of the public are invited to a free event to help fight hunger in Arkansas.

The two-day Empty Bowls fundraiser will include martial arts and robotics demonstrations, choir performances, and a silent auction of beautiful handmade bowls created by students of the UALR Children International Kids’ Club.

Delicious soup and bread will be served, and all proceeds from the auction will go to the Arkansas Food Bank.

This event kicks off at 4 pm. Wednesday, April 20, and continues until 6 p.m. at Wakefield Elementary. The second day of the event runs from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 21, at Wilson Elementary.
