It’s tough to kick a habit, so a team of interns working with the UALR Sustainability Committee created a 12-step program to reduce individual carbon footprints.

Fitness trainers, personal trainers, fitness enthusiasts, and school physical education teachers are invited to the UALR campus Saturday, March 17, and Sunday, March 18, for a workshop on Punk Rope, a total fitness program for kids and adults that uses simple jump rope moves to improve physical health.

Who has time to find a unique Valentine’s Day gift for that special someone? With the holiday right around the corner, thousands of non-traditional UALR students juggling school, jobs, children, and/or other responsibilities may be asking themselves this question.
Students and instructors will get the chance to document their experiences at UALR through “Wired Tight,” a video contest that will run periodically throughout the semester. The first deadline for submissions is Tuesday, Feb. 21.
