A retired University of Arkansas at Little Rock professor has made a planned giving agreement that will honor his love of Arkansas history and encourage more students to enter the field for years to come.
The UA Little Rock Center for Arkansas History and Culture has received a $35,628 grant from the Arkansas Natural and Cultural Resources Council to make a public database of archival materials that preserve the history of the 1979-1980 Arkansas Constitutional Convention. Linda Pine, an assistant professor emeritus of Ottenheimer Library at UA Little Rock and former senior archivist with the Center for Arkansas History and Culture, passed away Sept. 17.
Laura McClellan, assistant director of the Center for Arkansas History and Culture at UA Little Rock, received a new addition to her family in May – a Great Dane/Great Pyrenees puppy named Bruce after Bruce Banner/The Incredible Hulk.
