Ruth Bader Ginsburg, associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, will speak at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3. 

Marquisa Wince, a Juris Doctor candidate at the William H. Bowen School of Law and a Master of Public Service candidate at the Clinton School of Public Service, has received the B.A. Rudolph Scholarship at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service.

A law degree has opened many doors for UA Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law alumna Chanley Painter, who has worked as a deputy prosecutor, a private practice attorney, and for the past year as a multimedia journalist for Little Rock’s KARK-TV Channel 4.

John DiPippa, dean emeritus of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law, will discuss the most recent court ruling declaring the Affordable Care Act unconstitutional during a talk on Wednesday, Jan. 23. 

The UA Little Rock Anderson Institute on Race and Ethnicity is partnering with the Racial and Cultural Diversity Commission of the City of Little Rock to host a mayoral debate on issues of race, diversity, and equity Thursday, Oct. 11, at Philander Smith College. 

Theresa Beiner, dean of the UA Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law, and John DiPippa, dean emeritus, will give an update on the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday, Sept. 24. 

Salina Adolph, a concurrent student with the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law and the Clinton School of Public Service, completed an international public service project with the American Bar Association Commission on Immigration in Washington, D.C. 

Graduates of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and new students at the UA Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law are among the 41 new students entering the Master of Public Service degree program this fall at the Clinton School of Public Service. 

Former U.S. Pres. Bill Clinton and bestselling author James Patterson will discuss their new novel, “The President is Missing,” at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s Jack Stephens Center. 

Dr. Warigia Bowman, assistant professor of public policy at the Clinton School of Public Service, will deliver a lecture on rhetoric and legislation concerning immigration on May 1.
