The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Downtown Center will host a free exhibit of artwork by graduating students in the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) program during the 2nd Friday Art Afternoon on May 14.

UA Little Rock Downtown, in partnership with Central Arkansas Library System, will host an exhibit featuring art from both institutions from 2-5 p.m. at UA Little Rock Downtown, 333 President Clinton Ave.

During their senior year, BFA students at UA Little Rock work on a special project and produce a specific body of work around a specific theme. Artists featured in the BFA exhibit include Olyvia Bolen, photography, Jonathan Nguyen, painting, Ashlee Stanley, painting, Olivia Blair, graphic design, Carley Brown, illustration, Tatiana Correa, illustration, and Madeline Hutson, illustration.

This show will be a precursor to 2nd Friday Art Night from 5-8 p.m. in Pocket Park Alley Gallery on Main Street, which will feature live music by The Going Jessies and 10 local artists who painted the Alley Gallery.
