The UA Little Rock campus community is invited to celebrate Sustainability Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, in the Chi Omega Courtyard Plaza in front of Ottenheimer Library.

Sustainability Day is an opportunity to celebrate and cultivate choices for sustainable living that lead to healthy environments, economies, and societies.

The UA Little Rock Campus Garden Alliance will be onsite to share information and encourage participation in the Campus Garden. Entergy Arkansas will give away eco-friendly LED light bulbs, power strips and desk lamps.

Onsite vendors will include Arkansas Natural Sky Association, City of Little Rock Sustainability Office, Friends of Fourche Creek, Natural State Recycling, Plastic Free Little Rock, Sacred Earth Gifts, UA Little Rock Wellness, and Wye Mountain Mushrooms.
