This scholarship is made possible through an endowment from The Willard and Pat Walker Charitable Foundation to increase the number of qualified nursing graduates in our state.
Selection will be based on financial need, academic excellence, and professionalism. Academic performance assessment will include grade point average in general education courses required for the major, UA Little Rock GPA, repeated courses and pattern of enrollment.
Scholarship awards range from $5,000 – $10,000.
Only students accepted to the UA Little Rock School of Nursing are eligible for this award. Incomplete applications will not be considered for a private scholarship.
