The 2026-27 Walker Scholarship for RN-BSN students is open.

The Willard and Pat Walker Foundation Scholarship is a $1,000 to $8,000 scholarship available to any RN-to-BSN student enrolled in nursing courses during the fall 2026 semester. This includes current and new BSN completion students.
Awards will be based on academic record, professional excellence, RN licensure, and financial need. A writing sample should be submitted with the application. Academic performance assessment will include the grade point average in general education courses required for the major, the UA Little Rock GPA, repeated courses, and the enrollment pattern. Awards will be disbursed each semester, depending on the number of credits taken. Students must have completed the 2026-27 FAFSA to be eligible.
Instructions: Please complete the following application. All aspects of the application, including the writing sample, must be submitted by Monday, June 29. Respond to each section as accurately as possible. If the application is incomplete, if you have not completed the FAFSA 2026-27 application, or if you are not enrolled in Fall 2026 BSN courses, you will not be considered for this scholarship.
