A Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts links the best practices of the classroom to the laboratory of production, engaging with ideas through theory and application. Our students are challenged to make meaningful contributions to their world. Students will learn to apply an aesthetic process to interpret, evaluate, and transmit the theatrical experience to an audience. Students also learn to self-assess in order to improve subsequent personal and professional endeavors.
The Department of Theatre Arts offers numerous scholarships to students in theatre. We are committed to providing an affordable education at UA Little Rock.
We also offer a minor in Theatre Arts that is designed to provide a broad-based offering of courses in theory, performance, and stage production.
