Lisa Geertsen: Metal and Metamorphosis

Lisa Geertsen is a founding member of the Society of Inclusive Blacksmiths. Her process is about making a connection, telling a story and pushing oneself to make the ordinary into something beautiful. She aims to help others experience these moments and to trigger something within them that sparks a connection inspired by the metamorphic process of working with metal.

Geertsen will give a lecture on her art and the transformative power of blacksmithing in person, at the Windgate Center for Art + Design (room 101).
