MT STAGE: EXPRESSIONS!
June 24 at 8:30 am - June 28 at 4:00 pm
FreeMT Stage: Expressions is a complete musical theater (MT) experience where students who have completed grades 7, 8, or 9 work with the following professionals:
An Expressions! Coach will lead an analysis and production of lyrics, texts, and poetry.
A Team-building Coach will work with students on team/community building skills.
An Expressions! Performance Coach will rehearse and direct students who will stage the Friday afternoon Student Performance.
In addition, students will workshop with
1) an acting coach on improvisation,
2) a photography coach on framing and capturing moments on camera,
3) a songwriter and recording artist who will coach students on musical composition and expression.
Program Dates: June 24 – 28, 2024
Time: 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (this is a day program; transportation is not provided)
Location: UA Little Rock Campus (Donaghey Student Center, Leadership Lounge)
Lunch and snacks are provided each day.
