Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) Training

On June 27, 2023, the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) became a federal law that requires covered employers to make reasonable accommodations for employees who have a known limitation due to pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions. This training will discuss the policy and procedures related to PWFA here at UA Little Rock (Accommodations Pertaining to Pregnancy, Childbirth, or Related Medical Conditions – Policy 401.8).

You will learn how employees can request an accommodation under PWFA and what Managers should know if an eligible employee or applicant requests an accommodation under the PWFA. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions and should expect to receive practical and applicable instructions about PWFA.
