Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) Training

On June 27, 2023, the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) became a federal law that requires covered employers to make reasonable accommodations for employees and applicants who have a known limitation due to pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions. This training will discuss the policy and procedures related to PWFA here at UA Little Rock (Accommodations Pertaining to Pregnancy, Childbirth, or Related Medical Conditions – Policy 401.8). You will learn how employees or applicants can request a PWFA accommodation and what Managers should know to do if an employee or applicant requests an accommodation under the PWFA.
