World Hijab Day

World Hijab Day is February 1st, 2022. Many non-Muslims don’t understand the idea behind the hijab. To support Muslim women, there will be events with flyers that explain World Hijab Day, Muslim women’s rights, and the meaning of the hijab. This is a great way for non-Muslims to understand and help out.

In the Donaghy Student Center, we’ll have a table (with a mirror) that has beautiful scarves that were donated as gifts. Our team will answer questions, give away hijabs, and help people try them on. These events create love, support, and understanding between faiths. This will be our first event post-COVID.
