It’s time to prepare for Homecoming 2023! This year’s theme is Maroon Madness.
We welcome you to join us in the campus-wide treasure hunt. This event will kick off the homecoming celebration on November 6, 2023. The treasure hunt is a fantastic opportunity for students to visit your physical location as they race against others. All events are promoted on the Trojan Engage app (and on our socials @ualrsec), and the first clue will be released by viewing the app. Like last year, students will travel from location to location, collecting clues leading to the final prize.

Fall-o-Ween provides a festival experience with games, small rides, music, food, and a costume contest. Tables will be provided for departments and organizations to decorate and distribute candy or treats. Each table will be able to present a game and activity for students to enjoy.
Register your table and participate on the Trojan Engage app.
The Venture Center is hosting a techstars_ Startup Weekend April 14-16, 2023. Startup Weekend is a 54-hour event where teams form around an idea and work together to develop it, build a real product, and get expert feedback from entrepreneurs. At the end of the weekend, each team will pitch their startup idea to a panel of judges who will select one winner that can win up to $2,000! All meals will be provided during this event.
This event is open to everyone; however students regardless of major or experience can attend at a discounted rate. If you’ve ever thought about starting your own business or working for a startup, this is the perfect opportunity for you. You’ll get real-world experience working on a project with other founders, business owners, and entrepreneurs. You’ll also be able to make connections early in your career that could help you land a job after graduation. Interested parties can find out more about StartUp Weekend at the following links.
