Admission for Students Over Age 60

If you are an Arkansas resident who is at least 60 years of age and has been admitted to UA Little Rock, you can receive a waiver of all tuition and student fees. The waiver will be granted on a space available basis.

The online application fee ($40) and any class supplies and book costs are not waived.

Qualifying students can register for classes only on the last day of the regular registration period and the entire late registration period each academic term, in order to receive the waiver.

Students eligible for the waiver will not be subject to late registration fees, late payment fees, or any collection actions. If the student is degree seeking, transcripts are required from all institutions for transfer work. Students in this category are not eligible for federal aid.

Note: You must have reached your 60th birthday prior to the first day of the semester in order to receive the tuition waiver. You will need to provide proof of age to Student Accounts, such as a driver’s license or birth certificate, to establish eligibility for tuition waiver.
