Receiving this scholarship includes a solo exhibition. Annika’s scholarship exhibition of paintings is a continuation of her BFA painting project.

From Annika’s artist statement, “My work is an unraveling of historical and cultural aspects of previous generations and how they influence today. While exploring the societal restrictions that have impacted my family, I gained a better understanding of the patterns I inherited.
