CHASSE Fall Fling

FreeCollege of Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences, and Education (CHASSE) students, staff, and faculty are invited to the college’s celebration of the fall 2023 semester. The event will feature picnic-style food, music, yard games, prizes, tours, performances, and more!
You can participate in the college’s partnership with the Trojan Food Pantry by bringing packaged foods. Each food item you bring will equal one ticket to be entered in to win prizes throughout the evening.
5:30 p.m. – Visit Professor Lydia Martin’s Artist-in-Residence Exhibition
Visit the Ann Maners and Alex Pappas Gallery where Professor Martin will be on site to speak about her work. Martin is the jewelry and small metals artist-in-residence at the UA Little Rock School of Art and Design, and her work is an exploration of material skill, surface, line, and movement.
6 p.m. – Hear from CHASSE faculty at the Campus Garden
Dr. Maureece Levin (School of Human Inquiry), Dr. Kristin Mann (Department of History), and Professor Krista Schoening (School of Art and Design) will be speaking about their work with the Campus Garden at UA Little Rock.
6:30 p.m. – Enjoy a performance from our music program
UA Little Rock’s very own Percussion Ensemble and Trojan Steel Band will be closing the celebration with a performance directed by Dr. Justin Bunting.
