Doyne Dodd has been taking photographs for the past fifty years. He has studied with and worked with many other photographers over the years, but venturing into the world of professional photography was never a life goal. Although photograph has been a life long hobby Doyne has always sought the perfection of a professional photographer. Doyne’s preference has always been silver gelatin prints; black and white images. Tones and textures are richer and images just have greater connection with viewers.
This exhibition is a collection of landscapes and buildings from Colorado to Arkansas and detail images of interesting surfaces of buildings and objects. It’s the kind of exhibition is best described as a “quiet exhibition.”
Reception: Thursday, March 7, 5:00-7:00pm
