TextHelp is our software that all UA Little Rock students can access through their university email. It is an easy-to-use support tool that gives students extra help with reading, writing, math, and science.
This tool is available on various devices to equip students with the tools they need to succeed in their academic journey. For insructions on how to access Read&Write, OrbitNote, and Equatio, please scroll to the bottom of the page.
TextHelp Details
Read&Write: Helps millions of students and adults worldwide to read, write, and express themselves independently. Includes features such as: text-to-speech, translation, highlights, and audio creator.
OrbitNote: Create an accessible, dynamic, and collaborative space that works for everyone. Includes features such as: converting PDFs to an accessible format and live commenting.
Equatio: Makes math both digital and accessible. Type, handwrite, or dictate any expression with no tricky coding to master.
Access Instructions
- Go to Chrome Extension Store
- Search for what extension you want (Read&Write, OrbitNote, or Equatio)
- Add extension to Chrome
- Log on using your UA Little Rock email
- Now you can use the extension.
How To Add TextHelp Extensions to Google Chrome Toolbar
- Go to the top of the tab in Google Chrome and click the three vertical dots
- Click “manage extensions”
- Find the extension (Read&Write, OrbitNote, or Equatio) and click on “details”
- Scroll down to where it says “pin to toolbar”
- To the right, click the bar
- Now you can easily access the extension from your toolbar
