David L. Briscoe, Professor of Sociology
- Dr. Briscoe has served as a member of the National Executive Board of the Boy Scouts of America, and as the Council President of the Quapaw Area Council (2015-2018), where he is currently Immediate Past President and Chair of the Diversity Council.
- In 2015, he served as the Inaugural National Chairman of the “Learning for Life” Program, an academic and character development program serving more than 1.7 million students across the nation.
- He was awarded the Learning for Life National Distinguished Service Award in 2016.
As the NCAA Faculty Athletic Representative forUA Little Rock, Dr. Briscoe serves on a number of committees at the Sun Belt Conference and served as a panelist at the 2019 Inaugural Diversity Summit.
