Professor of History
Dr. Edward Anson is a professor and has been teaching at UA Little Rock for the past 45 years. In that time, he has written and published 10 books, 22 book chapters, 64 encyclopedia articles and has given 33 scholarly presentations that have been well-received around the world.
Most of his works have revolved around his extensive research and knowledge of Alexander the Great and the Hellenistic Age. His next book, The Campaigns of Philip II and Alexander the Great, will be published in 2022. Dr. Anson is highly regarded by associates around the world for his contributions to the academic debate through his many publications.
