Research Assistant Professor
Dr. Shawn Bourdo began working with CINS as a post-doctoral researcher at the Graduate Institute of Technology in 2009, collaborating on a joint project; he officially joined the CINS staff in 2012. Dr. Bourdo’s research focuses on the chemistry of materials, polymer-composites for tissue regeneration, inherently conducting polymers (ICPs), carbon nanomaterial-ICP composites, and the application of materials to photovoltaic devices.
