Parkhurst Brothers Publishers is celebrating the publication of UALR art professor Eric Mantle’s new book with a toast to Mantle from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15 at Vino’s Pizza and Brew Pub at 923 West Seventh Street. Pepperoni pizza will be served.

Mantle’s book, “A Visual Guide to Classical Art Theory For Drawing and Painting Students,” was published in August. It presents the basics of classical theory in a clear and concise manner for all beginning drawing and painting students.

Mantle will be at Vino’s to autograph copies of his book, sold in Vino’s event room and at Art Outfitters.
