The music department will present a faculty and guest artists recital featuring Tatiana Roitman at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, in the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall in UALR’s Fine Arts Building.

The recital marks Roitman’s first performance as visiting artist at UALR. Joining Roitman will be concertmasters of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, Andrew Irvin and Kiril Laskarov, as well as ASO’s principal cellist David Gerstein.

The program includes “Sonata for Violin and Piano in C-minor No. 7, Op.30 No. 2” by Ludwig van Beethoven and “Piano Trio in D-minor, Op.49” by Felix Mendelssohn. A dessert reception will follow the performance at the Bailey Alumni Center.
