The UALR Academy of Teaching and Learning Excellence will hold a workshop exploring meaningful writing assignments in higher education Thursday, March 14.
Dr. Michele Eodice, associate provost for academic engagement and director of the writing center at the University of Oklahoma, will deliver her keynote presentation, “What the Meaningful Writing Project Means for Learning and Teaching,” at 11 a.m. April 14 in Student Services Center Room 104.
The talk will present findings from the Meaningful Writing Project, a collaborative research project that explores faculty goals, beliefs, and values about learning and teaching writing in higher education.
A lunch will follow the lecture at 12:15 p.m. in Donaghey Student Center Room G. The lunch will be limited to the first 35 people who register online.
