Dr. Carolina Cruz-Neira

The Emerging Analytics Center at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock will be featured during the Little Rock Science Café’s 10th anniversary event on virtual reality.

The Little Rock Science Café, which is free and open to the public, will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26, at Historic Arkansas Museum, 200 E. 3rd St. in Little Rock.

Dr. Carolina Cruz-Neira, director of the Emerging Analytics Center, will host a question-and-answer session on virtual reality. The Emerging Analytics Center will also bring hands-on technology to demonstrate applications in virtual reality.

Linda Williams, a former biomedical researcher at NASA-Johnson Space Center and the author of more than two dozen books on science and technology, founded the Little Rock Science Café in 2007 to bring together a monthly forum where people could discuss science topics in an open forum.
