Registration open for Student Research and Creative Works Showcase

Registration is open for this year’s expanded Student Research and Creative Works Showcase set for April 12.

The showcase will be in the Jack Stephens Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. All currently registered UA Little Rock graduate and undergraduate students are eligible to present their research or creative work as posters, exhibits, installations, performances, or oral presentations. New this year is a category in Service Work and Professional Application. Projects in this category may include (but are not limited to) work completed in an internship, as a volunteer, in a service learning class, or as demonstrations of professional practices.

Registration is available here.

Early registration is encouraged, and abstract and poster workshops will be hosted in February by the Student Research and Creative Works Committee. Committee members will work with students planning an alternative presentation format.

Priority registration is March 9. Abstracts submitted by this date will be included in the showcase program. Students who submit a finalized poster by this date also will have their printing costs covered by the vice provost for research. The final deadline for registration is March 30. The award ceremony will be held on May 1.

Research and creative work is important. Please encourage students to submit their work  with culture of research and innovation at UA Little Rock.
