Polygraph Lounge to close out Chancellor’s Concert Series
The UA Little Rock Chancellor’s Concert Series closes its inaugural season in April with a week-long residency of Polygraph Lounge – made up of the artists Rob Schwimmer, Mark Stewart and Melissa Fathman.
Individually, the musicians perform as virtuoso soloists and composers. Together, they create an eclectic mix of wit, humor, and dazzling musical artistry which they describe as “inspired lunacy/anarchy.” Schwimmer is a composer-pianist/keyboardist, thereminist, vocalist and Continuum player who has performed and recorded throughout the world. Stewart is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, composer and instrument designer. Since 1998 he has recorded, toured and been musical director with Paul Simon. Melissa Fathman is equally at home on the opera stage, in the concert hall and in clubs. She has collaborated with innovative performance artists, composers and educators, and developed and performed in a number of educational projects.
Three concerts, one workshop, and one panel discussion are scheduled during the week of April 23-26:
