UA Little Rock presents Earth Day festivities April 19

The University of Arkansas Little Rock Sustainability Committee invites faculty, staff, and students to celebrate Earth Day on Thursday, April 19.

Festivities will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Donaghey Student Center mall area.

Participants will be able to purchase various homemade items from vendors, including Crooked House Herbals, D & D Designs, Green Corner Store, Pup Eats Dog Treats, and Little Brick Oven.

Along with external vendors will be UA Little Rock organizations, such as the Garden Alliance Club, Geology Club, McNair Scholars, and the Sustainability Committee.

Food trucks will be located outside of the Donaghey Student Center near the University Parking Deck. This year Big Dawg BBQ, Diane’s Delicious Dogs, Katmandu Momo, and Shambala Mobile Vegan Kitchen will be on site   

There will also be a shredding truck in the parking lot located on the east side of the library. Anyone with UA Little Rock documents in need of shredding is free to use the equipment.
