Bowen law school hosts Discover Law Day

William H. Bowen School of Law

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s William H. Bowen School of Law will host its annual Discover Law Day on Tuesday, Feb. 12, to give people the opportunity to learn about law school and the legal profession from current students, professors, and attorneys.

The event will be 6-8 p.m. at the law school, located at 1201 McMath Ave.

The keynote speaker will be Robert Tellez, a Bowen School of Law alumnus and North Little Rock attorney who will discuss his “Journey to Attorney.” A panel of students will also be available to answer questions about their law school experiences.

The purpose of the event is to educate young students in high school, community college, or the early years of undergraduate school as well as future students from racial or ethnic groups underrepresented in the legal profession about the possibilities of a legal career and the resources available to help them succeed.

Anyone interested in attending this event is asked to register online.
