Celebrate Valentine’s Day by spreading the love and helping to save a life during the UA Little Rock Staff Senate Blood Drive on Thursday, Feb. 14. 

The blood drive will be held from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Donaghey Student Center Fitness Center and is open to UA Little Rock students, staff, and faculty and members of the public.

Donors can sign up for an appointment by visiting www.arkbi.org. Donors should click “Give Blood” at the top of the page, then click “Sponsor Code Search” on the left side of the page, and enter “162W” in the sponsor code search box. They can also set up an appointment by contacting Blood Drive Chair Dara Goad at 501-569-8674 or dkgoad@ualr.edu. Walk-ins are welcome as well. All donors will receive a limited-edition T-shirt.

In order to reduce waiting time by up to 15 minutes, donors can answer the pre-appointment questions online by visiting the Donor Express website on the day of their appointment.

UA Little Rock is partnering with the Arkansas Blood Institute, a nonprofit blood center whose volunteer donors provide every drop of blood needed by patients in 32 Arkansas hospitals.
