A University of Arkansas at Little Rock student will represent Arkansas on national television this week when she competes on “Match Game.”

Cheryl Humphrey, a graduate student studying music education at UA Little Rock, will appear on the television game show at 8 p.m. Thursday, June 21, on ABC.

“Match Game” originally premiered on NBC in 1962 and has been rebooted several times. In its current form, four contestants each week attempt to match the answers of six celebrities in a game of fill-in the missing blank.

Humphrey, of North Little Rock, is a singer who performs as CandySoul and is the owner and operator of CandyVocals.

Humphrey, who is also the owner of a line of scented shea butter skin care products called Candy Butta, taped the episode in New York in October. She got the chance to show off some of her Candy Butta products to the show’s host, Alec Baldwin.

“Saturday Night Live” actor Kenan Thompson will also appear on the episode along with celebrities Niecy Nash, Thomas Lennon, Carolina Rhea, Mark Duplass, and Constance Zimmer.
