Six new business leaders join UA Little Rock Foundation Fund board
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Foundation Fund Board of Directors has appointed six new members to serve three-year terms.
They include:
- Hunter Babin, owner and founder, Telconnections, Inc.
- George Burks, manager of group sales, Arkansas Blue Cross
- Troy Duke, president, Capital Bank
- Woody Harrelson, president, The Hatcher Agency
- Cheryl Shuffield, director of business valuation and litigation support, Frost PLLC
- Michael Williams, key account manager, PepsiCo
Officers for this year include Carlton Billingsley, board chair; Dr. Marcia Smith, program committee chair; Sean Glancy, fundraising committee chair; and Ryan Holder, membership committee chair.
The board meets four times a year to oversee the activities of the UA Little Rock Foundation Fund. Members communicate the foundation’s mission and serve as ambassadors of goodwill for UA Little Rock in the community, state, and region, as well as support the mission and goals of the university as it relates to public higher education and UA Little Rock’s need for private and public support.
