UA Little Rock features work of graduating art students
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock will display the final artwork submitted by 11 of the university’s graduating art students from Nov. 22 to Dec. 10 in the Windgate Center of Art and Design Small Gallery.
A reception for the Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Art Capstone Exhibit will be held from 5-7 p.m. Nov. 22 in the lower lobby of the Windgate Center for Art and Design. Prior to the reception, Bachelor of Fine Art students Amanda Brown and Kelli Fix will show presentations of their work in Lecture Hall 101 from 4:30-5 p.m.
Bachelor of Art students who will display their capstone projects include Brown, Dairies Covington, Julian Decker, Lauren Johnson, Carol Lee, Emilio Medina, Karmen Merritt, Tristan Stevens, Lauren Tidwell, and Gege Zhang.
The exhibit is free and open to the public. The art gallery is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. It is closed on Sundays and university holidays.
