UALR to celebrate the arts with 6×6 Holiday Art Sale

After years of success with two signature University of Arkansas at Little Rock events, Friends of the Arts (FOA) and the Department of Art will combine forces to present the 6×6 Holiday Art Sale Preview and Reception at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, in the UALR Applied Design Studio.

New interactive art exhibit utilizes mirrors, artist talk Oct. 14

Visual artist Marianela de la Hoz will present an artist talk at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, in Room 161 of the Fine Arts Building at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. A reception in honor of De La Hoz will precede her talk from 4 to 6 p.m.

Holiday sale to offer one-of-a-kind art pieces, Dec. 16

UALRHolidaySaleThe UALR Department of Art will present a Holiday Sale from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, in the Applied Design facility, located in Suite 300 of University Plaza.

For those seeking one-of-a-kind art and handmade objects made by students, alumni and faculty, the sale offers a great way to pick up truly unique gifts for the holiday season.

The sale will offer pieces in the following mediums: ceramics, wood, jewelry, paintings, drawings, photos, sculptures, and fiber.
