Speaking of Green: UALR Hosts Sustainable Fair Oct. 21

For the second year, UALR will host a Green Jobs Fair from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, to celebrate Campus Sustainability Day. The event is sponsored by the College of Business, Net Impact, and the UALR Sustainability Committee.

Big, white collection bins popping up around campus since July 1 are signs that a new hauler is in town, collecting under the State Mixed Paper Recycling program. Allied Waste won the state contract beginning July.
