UA Little Rock to kick-off semester with Welcome Back Week
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock will welcome its returning students with a week of fun-filled events to help kick start the spring 2021 semester.
The spring semester begins Tuesday, Jan. 19, and Welcome Back Week runs through Friday, Jan 22. New and returning students will be able to pick up free Personal Protective Equipment kits, breakfast, and school supplies.
Additional events include student chats with the Student Experience Center, Trojan Transition & Assistance Center, Counseling Services, and a virtual escape room. The STAR Office will also hold several events to help students succeed at online learning.
The daily events include:
Tuesday, Jan. 19
- Free PPE kits, ASK Desk (located on the second floor of the Student Services Center), 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Free PPE kits, Ottenheimer Library, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Free Grab and Go Breakfast, Donaghey Student Center Foyer, 8-10:30 a.m.
- New Student Chat with Maggie, orientation leader and ASK Desk student worker, 10 a.m.
- School Supply Giveaway, Donaghey Student Center Foyer, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Instagram live session with tips from fellow students, 3 p.m.
- Virtual Escape Room, 6 p.m.
Wednesday, Jan. 20
- Free PPE kits, ASK Desk and Ottenheimer Library, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Free Grab and Go Breakfast, Donaghey Student Center Foyer, 8-10:30 a.m.
- School Supply Giveaway, Donaghey Student Center Foyer, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Blackboard Student Orientation, 11 a.m.

- New Student Chat with Tonya, graduate assistant for Trojan Transition & Assistance Center, 2 p.m.

Thursday, Jan. 21
